By Plane:
From Peretola Airport:
Take a taxi or the shuttle from the airport to the central train station. When you arrive at the S.M. Novella train station, you can take a taxi or bus line D. Alight at the Old Bridge. The street that begins from the bridge is Via Guicciardini. The Florence Old Bridge is on your right (number 22 black).
Alternatively, you could enjoy a pleasant stroll from the station to the hotel, which takes approximately 20 minutes: leave the station and take Via de' Panzani. Continue through Via de' Cerretani and you will reach the Duomo Square. From there, take Via Roma and walk straight through Piazza della Repubblica and Via Por Santa Maria, across the Old Bridge. If you continue straight on, you will find yourself in Via Guicciardini.
By Car:
- Take the A1 motorway and exit at Firenze Sud.
- Continue until you reach the end of the long road you find after leaving the motorway and follow signs to the city centre.
- You will pass several traffic lights and should follow the main street which runs along the river Arno (that is Lungarno Colombo).
- Cross the Verrazzano Bridge.
- After the bridge, turn right along the Lungarno Ferrucci (not crossing the river again) and continue straight, following the roundabout and the traffic lights.
- After Piazza Ferrucci you will see the Old Bridge straight in front of you. Once you have the Old Bridge on your left-hand side you will be in Via Guicciardini. The B&B is on your right (number 22 black).
By Train:
From S.Maria Novella station:
Take a taxi or bus line D. Alight at the Old Bridge. The street that begins from the bridge is Via Guicciardini. The Florence Old Bridge is on your right (number 22 black). Alternatively, you could walk. See instructions above.
